The fastest way to cut cast iron soil pipe, clay pipe, and small diameter concrete pipe is with a chain soil pipe cutter. Great for gray water applications! Improved design with stronger jaws and more durable adjusting screws. The ratcheting SC49 model is ideal for close quarter work. Multiple use 1/2in ratchet wrench ships with SC49 models. No-Hub Roller Kit is standard on all models. Not suitable for cutting ductile iron for which a hinge cutter or rotary cutter is recommended. HPC12 is designed for DIPS and IPS PE pipe from SDR17 to SDR9.3. Brass bushings in HPC12 crosshead feed assembly yield smooth feed and more consistent blade alignment. The accurate cuts from Reed Guillotine Cutters mean no facing is needed for electrofusion and only minimal facing for butt fusion joints. PLAS In-Line Rotary Cutters PLAS In–Line Rotary Cutters are excellent for cutting 4" to 12" (110 – 335 mm) diameter PVC or PE pipe in–trench or above ground. Each PLAS rotary cutter needs just 6" to 8" (153 – 203 mm) clearance around the pipe. Outboard rollers keep the cutter aligned on pipe, ensuring a square cut every time. The tool's carbide–tipped blades for PVC are long–lasting and penetrate up to a 2" wall thickness*. Each PVC cutter also can produce, in–line with the cut, a 15° bevel on both sides of the cut. In addition, a hardened, tool steel blade to cut PE pipe is available separately.
