Description
Rough-In Test Kit With Liquid-Filled (LF) Gauge
Hold pressure without leaving your test bucket behind
The Plumboss Rough-In Test Kit is designed to streamline pressure testing during rough-in stages of plumbing installations. Commonly used on residential builds, it allows copper pipework to be pumped up to pressure using a test bucket, then isolated so the bucket can be removed from site.
Once pressurised, the integrated mini ball valve is closed to hold pressure for inspection, eliminating the need to leave the test bucket connected. This reduces the risk of equipment loss, allows the same bucket to be used across multiple jobs, and improves efficiency when working across multiple sites.
Fitted with a liquid-filled gauge, the kit provides improved accuracy and stability when reading pressure, especially in site conditions where vibration or movement can affect standard gauges.
RTK02 Demonstration
The Test Bucket Saver
Used when testing the rough-in on a house, the copper work is pumped up to pressure using a test bucket and the Rough-In Test Kit. The mini ball valve is turned off to hold the pressure for the time specified by the inspector, and the test bucket can be taken away so that:
